MAC 5K Walk in Clontarf September 22nd 2102 @ 2pm

European Prostate Cancer Awareness Day is being launched by Europa Uomo accross the continent in September. In Dublin MAC will be holding a 5K walk in Clontarf. We assemble at the DART station car park at 2pm on Saturday the 22nd where the walk will commence and we will finish at the Yacht Public House on the seafront. Water, t-shirts and maps will be available on the day. Please bring your family and friends and if you need a sponsorship card email [email protected]

Ballinasloe goes DVD

East Galway Cancer Suppoer Group has a mens' group for those who have been treated for prostate cancer. They have formed Prostate Support & Awareness Ireland and it has produced a superb 20 minute DVD on how to deal with the aftermath of a prostatectomy. New Prostate Cancer Test Gets US FDA Approval

A new non-invasive blood test for prostate cancer detection has won approval from the US Federal Drugs Administration.
